How the interaction occurs:
Your medicine may slow down how quickly your body processes cyclosporine.
What might happen:
The amount of cyclosporine in your blood may increase and cause side effects including infections or kidney or liver injury.
What you should do about this interaction:
Let your healthcare professionals (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) know right away that you are taking these medicines together. Your doctor may want to change your medicines or check the amount of cyclosporine in your blood.Tell your doctor if you experience fever, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, headache, confusion, abdominal pain, dark urine or light stools, unusual swelling, changes in the color or amount of your urine, or changes in how often you urinate.Your healthcare professionals may already be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it. Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medicine before checking with them first.
