How the interaction occurs:
Sucralfate decreases the amount of lansoprazole that your body absorbs.
What might happen:
The levels of lansoprazole in your blood may decrease and the medicine may not work as well.
What you should do about this interaction:
You should take your lansoprazole at least 30 minutes before taking your sucralfate.Your healthcare professionals may already be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it. Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medicine before checking with them first.
