Who should not take Histex SR Tablet, Extended Release?

The following conditions are contraindicated with this drug. Check with your physician if you have any of the following:

Conditions:

  • closed angle glaucoma
  • stenosing peptic ulcer
  • blockage of the urinary bladder
  • an inability to completely empty the bladder
  • chronic idiopathic constipation
  • overactive thyroid gland
  • high blood pressure
  • blockage of the stomach or intestine
  • enlarged prostate
  • chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
  • chronic heart failure
  • coronary artery disease
  • significant uncontrolled high blood pressure

Allergies:

  • Acetaminophen
  • Sympathomimetic Agents
  • Ephedrine Analogues
  • Antihistamines
  • Antihistamines - Alkylamine
