How the interaction occurs:
Risdiplam may inhibit the ability of your kidneys to remove certain medicines from your body.
What might happen:
The amount of these medicines in your body may increase and cause more side effects than expected and increase your risk of an irregular heartbeat, which may be life-threatening.
What you should do about this interaction:
Make sure your healthcare professionals (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) know that you are taking these medicines together. Let your doctor know right away if you notice an irregular heartbeat or have any dizziness or fainting episodes. Your doctor may want to change the dose of your medicine or change you to a different medicine. Let your doctor or pharmacist know if you develop any new side effects of your medication.Your healthcare professionals may already be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it. Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medicine before checking with them first.
