The cause of the interaction is not known.

What might happen:

The effects of your blood pressure medicine may decrease. Your blood pressure may increase, causing headache, dizziness, or blurred vision. Your kidneys may not work as well.

What you should do about this interaction:

If your blood pressure does increase, contact your doctor. It may be necessary to change the dosage of your blood pressure medicine or change your pain medicine.Your healthcare professionals (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) may already be aware of this drug interaction and may be monitoring you for it. Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medicine before checking with them first.
