Both of these medicines can affect your blood's ability to clot.

What might happen:

Taking these medicines together may increase your risk for bleeding. Symptoms may include bleeding from your gums, nosebleeds, unusual bruising, or dark stools.

What you should do about this interaction:

Make sure your healthcare professionals (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) know that you are taking these medicines together.Let your doctor know right away if you have any bleeding episodes or signs of bleeding.Your healthcare professionals may already be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it.
