Cyclosporine may slow down how quickly your body processes ambrisentan.

What might happen:

The amount of ambrisentan in your blood may increase and cause more side effects than expected.

What you should do about this interaction:

Let your healthcare professionals (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) know that you are taking these medicines together. Your doctor may want to change the dose of your medicine if you are taking more than 5 mg of ambrisentan daily. Let your doctor know if have any loss of appetite, nausea/vomiting, fever, unusual tiredness, abdominal pain, yellowing of the skin or whites of your eyes, dark urine, itching, unusual weight gain, trouble breathing, or swelling of the arms or legs.Your healthcare professionals may already be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it. Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medicine before checking with them first.
