Who should not take Lurasidone 120 Mg Tablet Antipsychotics (Excluding Select Aripiprazole Formulations)?
The following conditions are contraindicated with this drug. Check with your physician if you have any of the following:
Conditions:
- a type of movement disorder called parkinsonism
- chronic kidney disease stage 5 (failure)
- chronic kidney disease stage 4 (severe)
- dementia in an elderly person
- problems with food passing through the esophagus
- weight gain
- orthostatic hypotension
- a form of low blood pressure
- a transient ischemic attack
- a type of stroke that lasts only a few minutes
- neuroleptic malignant syndrome
- a reaction characterized by fever
- muscle rigidity and confusion
- suicidal thoughts
- low levels of white blood cells
- excessive fat in the blood
- diabetes
- Child-Pugh class C liver impairment
- manic-depression
- Child-Pugh class B liver impairment
- kidney disease with likely reduction in kidney function
- chronic kidney disease stage 3B (moderate)
- difficulty swallowing
- seizures
- a stroke
- a low seizure threshold
- tardive dyskinesia
- a disorder characterized by involuntary movements of the face
- mouth and tongue
- low levels of a type of white blood cell called neutrophils
- overweight
- a high prolactin level
- severe liver disease
