When these two medicines are taken together, the oil-based vaginal product may alter the vaginal ring causing an increase in release rate of your birth control.
What might happen:
The effects of your birth control may decrease and cause breakthrough bleeding, spotting, or pregnancy.

Make sure your healthcare professionals (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) know that you are taking these medicines together. Contact your doctor if you experience breakthrough bleeding, spotting, or pregnancy.Your healthcare professionals may already be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it. Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medicine before checking with them first.
