Who should not take Mircera Syringe?

The following conditions are contraindicated with this drug. Check with your physician if you have any of the following:

Conditions:

  • pure red cell aplasia
  • a blood clot in a vascular access device
  • seizures
  • blood clot in a deep vein of the extremities
  • obstruction of a blood vessel by a blood clot
  • a stroke
  • sudden and serious symptoms of heart failure called acute decompensated heart failure
  • coronary artery disease
  • a heart attack
  • significant uncontrolled high blood pressure
  • high blood pressure
  • anemia from inadequate iron
  • porphyria
  • inadequate vitamin B12
  • inadequate folic acid
  • a clot in the lung

Allergies:

  • Polyethylene Glycol Analogues
  • Erythropoietin Analogues
