How the interaction occurs:
When these two medicines are taken together, your body may not absorb your diuretic (water pill) properly.
What might happen:
Your diuretic (water pill) may not reduce the water in your body. This may cause water retention or an increase in your blood pressure.
What you should do about this interaction:
If you experience problems with your breathing, increased swelling, tiredness, weakness, headache, or dizziness, contact your healthcare professionals (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) about taking these two medicines together. Your doctor may instruct you to take these two medicines at two different times.Your healthcare professionals may already be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it. Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medicine before checking with them first.
