Who should not take Afrezza Cartridge With Inhaler?

The following conditions are contraindicated with this drug. Check with your physician if you have any of the following:

Conditions:

  • lung cancer
  • a condition with low thyroid hormone levels
  • eating disorder
  • bronchospastic lung disease
  • decreased kidney function
  • tobacco smoking
  • chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
  • overactive thyroid gland
  • low blood sugar
  • liver problems
  • a body temperature higher than 101 degrees Fahrenheit
  • vomiting
  • low amount of potassium in the blood

Allergies:

  • Insulins
  • Insulins - Human
