Who should not take Savaysa?
The following conditions are contraindicated with this drug. Check with your physician if you have any of the following:
Conditions:
- chronic kidney disease stage 3B (moderate)
- procedure to place indwelling epidural catheter
- severe liver disease
- increased risk of bleeding due to clotting disorder
- operation on the spine
- bleeding
- chronic kidney disease stage 1 with mild signs of kidney damage
- deep plexus block
- kidney disease with likely reduction in kidney function
- chronic kidney disease stage 4 (severe)
- deep peripheral nerve block
- neuraxial anesthesia
- local anesthesia injected in the epidural space or subarachnoid space
- chronic kidney disease stage 5 (failure)
- chronic kidney disease stage 3A (moderate)
- antiphospholipid antibody syndrome
- a patient who is producing milk and breastfeeding
- cerebral amyloid angiopathy
- bleeding within the skull
- pregnancy
