The following conditions are contraindicated with this drug. Check with your physician if you have any of the following:
Conditions:
- kidney disease with likely reduction in kidney function
- an abnormally fast heartbeat
- family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma
- multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2
- medullary thyroid cancer
- pregnancy
- decreased kidney function
- suicidal thoughts
- dehydration
- low blood sugar
- acute inflammation of the pancreas
