What might happen:

You may be at a higher risk for blood clots in your arteries, veins and lungs, heart attack, and stroke when taking dexamethasone, lenalidomide or thalidomide or pomalidomide, and your cancer drug.

What you should do about this interaction:

If you experience shortness of breath, chest pain, or arm or leg swelling, contact your doctor immediately.If you experience chest pain, pain in your arms, neck, jaw or back, feeling sweaty, shortness of breath, or vomiting, contact your doctor immediately.If you experience sudden numbness of weakness, especially on one side of the body, headache or confusion, or problems with vision, speech, or balance, contact your doctor immediately.Make sure your healthcare professionals (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) know that you are taking these medicines together.Your healthcare professionals (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) may already be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it. Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medicine before checking with them first.
