Who should not take Paroxetine MESYLATE?
The following conditions are contraindicated with this drug. Check with your physician if you have any of the following:
Conditions:
- suicidal thoughts
- risk of angle-closure glaucoma due to narrow angle of anterior chamber of eye
- broken bone due to disease or illness
- pregnancy
- a feeling of restlessness with inability to sit still
- seizures
- bleeding from stomach
- esophagus or duodenum
- closed angle glaucoma
- serotonin syndrome
- a type of disorder with high serotonin levels
- manic-depression
- manic behavior
- an increased risk of bleeding
- low amount of sodium in the blood
- a disorder with excess antidiuretic hormone called syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone
- abnormal sexual function
- a low seizure threshold
