The following conditions are contraindicated with this drug. Check with your physician if you have any of the following:

  • stomach or intestinal ulcer
  • a type of stomach irritation called gastritis
  • manic-depression
  • posttraumatic stress syndrome
  • an ulcer from too much stomach acid
  • schizophrenia
  • panic disorder
  • angina
  • a type of chest pain
  • kidney disease with likely reduction in kidney function
  • enlarged prostate
  • liver problems
  • high blood pressure
  • cancer of the uterus
  • low blood sugar
  • low blood pressure
  • heart throbbing or pounding
  • breast cancer
  • diabetes
  • inflammation of blood vessels in the brain or spinal cord
  • endometriosis
  • mood changes
  • diarrhea
