Sutab tablets and stimulant laxatives work in similar ways which can increase the risk of side effects of these medications when used together.
What might happen:
If you take stimulant laxatives with Sutab tablets, it may increase your risk of stomach ulcers or decreased blood flow to your colon.
What you should do about this interaction:
Contact your healthcare professional (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) about using these medicines together. Your doctor may want you to stop taking one of the medications.Your healthcare professionals may already be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it.
