Lenacapavir/Bosentan Interactions

How the interaction occurs:

Bosentan may speed up how quickly your liver processes lenacapavir while lenacapavir may slow down how quickly your liver processes bosentan.

What might happen:

The overall effect of taking lenacapavir with bosentan is unknown. The amount of lenacapavir in your blood may decrease and lenacapavir may not work as well as expected. Alternatively, the amount of bosentan in your blood may increase and result in more side effects than expected.

What you should do about this interaction:

Let your healthcare professionals (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) know that you are taking these medicines together, or have taken them within the last 9 months. Your doctor may want you to stop taking the medicines or monitor you more closely.Your healthcare professionals may already be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it. Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medicine before checking with them first.
