Who should not take Sporanox Capsule?

The following conditions are contraindicated with this drug. Check with your physician if you have any of the following:

Conditions:

  • a painful condition that affects the nerves in the legs and arms called peripheral neuropathy
  • a low supply of oxygen rich blood to the heart
  • chronic heart failure
  • decreased stomach acid
  • visible water retention
  • abnormal liver function tests
  • hearing loss
  • heart valve disease
  • absence of stomach acid
  • decreased kidney function
  • chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

Allergies:

  • Itraconazole
  • Antifungal - Triazole
