What might happen:

The amount of avapritinib in your blood may increase and cause more side effects than normally expected.

What you should do about this interaction:

Make sure your healthcare professionals (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) know that you are taking these medicines together. Your doctor may want to change your medicines. Get medical care right away if you have a severe headache, weakness, tingling, numbness, or difficulty with vision, speech, or balance. Let your doctor know if you have difficulty thinking, concentrating, or sleeping, or if you have fever, fatigue, dizziness, shortness of breath, bloody stools, or hallucinations.Your healthcare professionals may already be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it. Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medicine before checking with them first.
