Who should not take Alferon N Vial?

The following conditions are contraindicated with this drug. Check with your physician if you have any of the following:

Conditions:

  • a herpes simplex infection
  • significantly decreased activity of the bone marrow
  • increased risk of bleeding due to clotting disorder
  • a clot in the lung
  • severe heart disease
  • a disease of the lung
  • seizures
  • chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
  • a complication of diabetes with high blood ketone levels called diabetic ketoacidosis
  • hemophilia
  • a sudden worsening of heart related chest pain called angina
  • sudden and serious symptoms of heart failure called acute decompensated heart failure
  • thrombophlebitis
  • an inflamed vein due to a blood clot
  • a patient who is producing milk and breastfeeding

  • Interferons
  • Alpha Interferon Moiety
  • Beta Interferon Moiety
