How the interaction occurs:

Your other medicine may slow down how quickly your body processes selumetinib.

What might happen:

The amount of selumetinib in your blood may increase and cause more side effects than normal, including vomiting, diarrhea, skin rashes, shortness of breath, unusual fatigue, visual changes (e.g., blurred vision, vision loss), muscle pain, and dark reddish urine.

What you should do about this interaction:

Make sure that your healthcare professionals (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) know that you are taking these medicines together. Let your doctor know right away if you have severe diarrhea, shortness of breath, fatigue, visual changes, muscle pain, or dark reddish urine.Your healthcare professionals may already be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it. Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medicine before checking with them first.
