How the interaction occurs:
Your medicine may speed up how quickly your liver processes delavirdine or etravirine.
What might happen:
Your blood levels of delavirdine or etravirine may decrease. If the amount of medicine decreases too much, it may not be effective against your infection and your virus may develop resistance to HIV medicines.
What you should do about this interaction:
Contact your healthcare professionals (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) as soon as possible about taking these medicines together.Your healthcare professionals may already be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it. Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medicine before checking with them first.
