Who should not take Fentanyl Patch, Transdermal 72 Hours?
The following conditions are contraindicated with this drug. Check with your physician if you have any of the following:
Conditions:
- alcohol intoxication
- cor pulmonale
- asthma attack
- paralysis of the intestines
- constipation
- coma
- fever
- weakened patient
- high pressure within the skull
- acute pain following operation without opiate tolerance
- history of opioid overdose
- decreased function of the adrenal gland
- drug abuse
- slow heartbeat
- low blood pressure
- decreased lung function
- inflammatory bowel disease
- biliary and gallbladder problem
- acute inflammation of the pancreas
- an inability to completely empty the bladder
- weakness and wasting of the body
- MRI scan
- worsening chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
- liver problems
- inherited dysfunction of autonomic nerve function
- kidney disease with likely reduction in kidney function
- chronic kidney disease stage 5 (failure)
- chronic kidney disease stage 4 (severe)
- chronic kidney disease stage 3B (moderate)
- chronic kidney disease stage 3A (moderate)
- chronic kidney disease stage 2 (mild)
