Who should not take Ifex Vial?

The following conditions are contraindicated with this drug. Check with your physician if you have any of the following:

Conditions:

  • cancer metastasis to bone
  • low amount of potassium in the blood
  • anemia
  • dehydration
  • Fanconi syndrome
  • a condition of the kidneys resulting in excessive urination
  • thirst and vomiting
  • decreased blood platelets
  • generalized disorder of peripheral nerves
  • decreased kidney function
  • coma
  • low levels of white blood cells
  • liver problems
  • renal tubular acidosis
  • inflammation and bleeding of the bladder due to chemotherapy
  • high amount of bilirubin in the blood
  • impaired wound healing
  • pregnancy
  • operation to remove kidney tissue
  • confusion
  • a patient who is producing milk and breastfeeding

Allergies:

  • Nitrogen Mustards
