How the interaction occurs:
Schisandra may increase the amount of your other medicine in your blood by slowing down how quickly your liver processes the medicine.
What might happen:
The blood levels of your other medicine may increase and could cause toxic effects.

Let your healthcare professionals (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) know that you are taking these medicines together.Your healthcare professionals may already be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it.
