Who should not take Equetro?
The following conditions are contraindicated with this drug. Check with your physician if you have any of the following:
Conditions:
- suicidal thoughts
- depression
- HLA-A *31:01 positive
- pregnancy
- decreased kidney function
- chronic heart failure
- coronary artery disease
- glaucoma
- an increased pressure in the eye
- mood changes
- an inability to completely empty the bladder
- liver problems
- complete heart block
- high blood pressure
- increased pressure in the eye
- decreased function of bone marrow
- high cholesterol
- hepatic porphyria
- low amount of sodium in the blood
- a disorder with excess antidiuretic hormone called syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone
- HLA-B *15:02 positive gene status
Allergies:
- Tricyclic Antidepressants and Tricyclic Compounds
- Antiepileptics with Arene Oxide Metabolites
- Carbamazepine Analogues
