Who should not take Equetro?

The following conditions are contraindicated with this drug. Check with your physician if you have any of the following:

Conditions:

  • suicidal thoughts
  • depression
  • HLA-A *31:01 positive
  • pregnancy
  • decreased kidney function
  • chronic heart failure
  • coronary artery disease
  • glaucoma
  • an increased pressure in the eye
  • mood changes
  • an inability to completely empty the bladder
  • liver problems
  • complete heart block
  • high blood pressure
  • increased pressure in the eye
  • decreased function of bone marrow
  • high cholesterol
  • hepatic porphyria
  • low amount of sodium in the blood
  • a disorder with excess antidiuretic hormone called syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone
  • HLA-B *15:02 positive gene status

Allergies:

  • Tricyclic Antidepressants and Tricyclic Compounds
  • Antiepileptics with Arene Oxide Metabolites
  • Carbamazepine Analogues
