Who should not take Sunitinib 50 Mg Capsule Antineoplastic - Protein-Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors?

The following conditions are contraindicated with this drug. Check with your physician if you have any of the following:

Conditions:

  • a type of brain disorder called posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome
  • pregnancy
  • abnormal liver function tests
  • elevation of proteins in the urine
  • coughing up of blood
  • high amount of bilirubin in the blood
  • seizures
  • recent operation
  • nephrotic syndrome
  • a type of kidney disorder
  • bleeding
  • abnormal EKG with QT changes from birth
  • left ventricular heart failure
  • slow heartbeat
  • chronic heart failure
  • cardiomyopathy
  • a disease of the heart muscle
  • decreased blood platelets
  • low amount of potassium in the blood
  • a localized weakening and ballooning in an artery wall called an arterial aneurysm
  • torsades de pointes
  • a type of abnormal heart rhythm
  • high levels of potassium in the blood
  • low amount of magnesium in the blood
  • low blood sugar
  • diabetes
  • a condition with low thyroid hormone levels
  • overactive thyroid gland
  • thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura
  • a type of blood disorder
  • a low supply of oxygen rich blood to the heart
  • high blood pressure
  • hemolytic uremic syndrome
  • a condition that affects the kidney and the blood
  • prolonged QT interval on EKG
  • a heart attack
  • anemia
  • high amount of magnesium in the blood
  • decreased function of the adrenal gland
  • dissection of artery
  • a patient who is producing milk and breastfeeding
