I began taking this when I suffered from post-partum depression and anxiety when my baby was 4 weeks old. She is now 4 years old. I stopped taking it for about one year, then had a bout of terrible anxiety that brought on depression. So I have now decided that this is just part of my life. I take only 50mg and it does the trick.

I'm actually taking sertraline for 3 reasons: depression, social anxiety disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. It's helped...but believe your doctor when s/he says it may cause ED.

Althought I was pleased with the effectiveness and ease of use, after discontinuing the drug after 2 years, there have been some problems. I have been experiencing panic attacks, and the feeling of an electrical charge underneath my skin/the feeling of bugs underneath my skin. I'm not sure what to do from here.
