Chemo attacked my glands so I've been on testosterone therapy for 7 years. I've used Testim gel, weekly self-injections, Axiron, and finally on a testosterone lotion prepared by local pharmacist. The self-injections were okay for a couple of days and then it dissipates so not much is in my system the last couple of days of the week. Testim was okay but it was inconvenient because I had to wait 10 -15 minutes until the gel dried before I could get dressed. Axiron was a good idea poorly executed. The Axiron solution has the same consitancy as water so I usually lost a good part of the doseage AMD you must apply it in your armpits and mine became irritated for a while. My local pharmicist's testosterone compound is the best! It has the consistency or viscosity of lotion and you can apply it to any part of your body except your genitals. My pharmacists suggested his compound and I have very pleased that I trusted him because the results are great!

I met with a doctor who did not want to prescribe Testosterone. I talked with another and he gave me 3 mill every 7 days. That gave me energy and some improvement but no big change. I upped the dosage to 2.5 every 4 days and everything changed! Super energy, weighlifting, huge mass and losing fat. But than side effects. Acne, swollen ankles,hair loss. So I cut back to 2.5 everry 5 days and tried changing sides on my rear and each shoulder so four spots for shots. (I am an EMT) the acne went away, swollen ankles are still here, some fatigue but gaining muscle and fat and retaining water. So I am going to pick it up in increments till I hit that sweet spot where I am losing fat. I lost now eight at all which was disappointing but people commenting on my physique let me know I was actually improving. My pants size went down from 48 to 46.I am on my 7th and 8th bottles tomorrow so it has been about 8 weeks. While I am very excited about the improvements I am very cautious because the side effects are right there waiting if you take too much. The acne is nasty little hard acne and It is no pleasant. No mood swings now but at first I think there may have been. I cannot explain this but people react to me differently. either physically or personally I am more aggressive or confident or something I cannot really explain. The results are very satisfying. My sexual drive is about four times what it was.

Wife had concerns, led to discussions with health care provider. I had flat affect, low sex drive, day long fatique, but the final straw was when I would work out and take 4-7 days to recover. Blood work showed T level extremely low. I self-inject once a week, I don't like giving myself shots, but it does put me in better control of dosage. The main "problem" I have now is that I ... The main "problem" I have now is that I MUST balance the IM with physical work. If I miss more than one workout I get moody, then irritable. I've been taking it IM for 2 yrs.

I am just now spiraling downward after tring to withdraw from the testosterone by 50%.and he and his staff think its rather humorous or funny.If you are using this drug make sure you have medical help that you can rely on. I have no idea how this will end butI think very badly for me.if you have any ideas please post a response. v
