Took 40 mg at start of migraine, later had to up itto 80 mg. Took it with 2 ibuprofen and would work to stop it over half the time. If took it to late would lessen the pounding pain. i was young and had strong heart. My mom got fatigued on it and took it before bed for her high BP. I had to stop it when i got older and the propranolol aggravated acid reflux.

My daughter took this for frequent severe migraines. She started at 10mg twice a day and never increased the dose. It was a miracle for her migraines, but about a week after starting it she experienced fatigue, extreme fogginess, and felt "outside herself" several times a day, so we are trying something else. Totally stopped migraines I suffered with for over 40 years. 80 mg extended release once per day with no detectable adverse side effects. I already had low blood pressure 113/67 and it didn't change. If I even get a headache I can take some tylenol or aspirin and know it will not turn into a migraine. Peace of mind changed everything and took this monkey off my back.
