Works great to get you "sleepy", but only for a couple of nights, then its effectiveness is almost nil. You'll need to stop using this for at least 4-5 days if you want it to work again. Also it leaves dry mouth and a sense of grogginess the next morning, so be prepared for that if you have things you need to do right away in the AM.

This medication made me experience intense dissociation episodes that are currently still ongoing and have yet to be resolved. A personal friend of my dad’s killed themselves due to this drug making their PTSD worse. Avoid if you suffer from dissociation or PTSD at all costs.

Works great for Insomnia. 50mg with food and you are dosing off on the couch at 7pm. Sometimes I add Melatonin. Works good together. Very Important to take with food. Works much better. God Bless!

I've been taking trazodone for 30+ years. I started out at 25 mg I now take 150 mg. I don't know what I would do without this med. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia & was given trazodone to aid me in sleeping. I would highly recommend this drug is you have trouble sleeping. It isn't addictive either.
