This medication caused me to feel sleepy/woozy within 30 minutes of taking it. Definitely helped me to fall asleep when stress/insomnia was preventing such. I have been on Trazodone for about 15 years, 200 mg at bedtime. It helps me get a good night sleep and helps great for depression. I used to be very depressed! After 8 hrs sleep I wake up feeling refreshed. I will stay on this for the rest of my life.

I have used this drug for years for help with insomnia. It also helps with my depression/anxiety. I used to take Ambien but became addicted and would take more than I should have. I decided to stop taking it. I was taking the trazadone with the Ambien but the trazadone is enough and truly helps. I take 1 150mg tab every night and 1/2 an hour later I'm ready for bed.
