I was given an IV injection of Cipro as part of my pre-surgery process, and within seconds I began to itch intensely on the hand where the needle was, and rapidly spreading up my forearm. Bad reaction. After a couple of days taking pills, was rushed to ER. Severe head itching, swollen tongue, trembling and rash around stomach. Stayed at hospital for five hours to received life saving medical health. Since, has developed food allergies. Do not take this medication, it will forever change your immune system. Never had any allergies before this reaction.

Shortly after taking Cipro I could barely get out of bed. I had tendinitis in almost all of my joints. It was excruciating. It's been 4 1/2 months and my knees and shoulders are still causing me a lot of pain. Cipro is toxic and wish I had known at the time that it was black labeled. BE CAREFUL!!!
