I have stage 4 endometriosis and have servere cramping with my periods. Naproxen is the ONLY OTC pain reliever that relieves my servere pain. Tylenol and IBprofen I have to take so many to work for my cramps that it upsets my stomach and doesnt work nearly as well as naproxen. The package labeling does not significantly warn about potential vision problems or what they might be. After following the dosing instructions, I started noticing "lightning flashes," large black spots and blurred vision. Taking more than directions say and it still does not alleviate the pain, but makes my stomach burn if I use more than 4 per day over several days. I do take it with food.
