I received clindamycin for a tooth infection. 300mg every 6 hours for 10 days. Thought everything was good until day 3 fever. Fever continuously while I was taking it and upset stomach with taking yogurt and more than a full glass of water. Now 2.5 weeks later. Diarrhea, so bad that I needed to go back to the doctor and make sure I don’t have cdiff. Use restroom 6-10 times a day and now I can’t ev ... Show Full Comment

I was given this antibiotic for tooth ache. Little did I know it was going to make it worse. I prefer the toothache than this horrible pain. I can't stop using the bathroom, horrible back pain, Stomach hurts so much. Along with nausea, dizziness. When I spoke to the dentist she said she never heard of those side effects. I stopped taking it 2 days ago and I still have horrible stomach and stom ... Show Full Comment

The dentist prescribed this for a tooth infection. It worked great for that. However, I have suffered from bowel problems for 40 years (I'm 71). THIS CURED IT! I now have normal bowels like a 20-year-old. Obviously, my bowel problem has something to do with bacteria. I'm going to ask my doctor how long I can take this stuff. It's a wonder drug for whatever my condition is.

In December I got c-diff from taking it. On my 4th round of antibiotics now and it is May. Drs said antibiotics don't work they will have to do a fecal transplant. I even took probiotics with it as recommended. I a ... Show Full Comment

I had a bridge removed and 1 tooth. I’ve been on this medication for 3 days and haven’t experienced any side effects. I’m staying hydrated and I eat when I take it. I hope it continues to work.
