I felt compelled to write a positive review about my experience with Paragard because there seems to be so many negative ones. I have had the Paragard IUD for about 4 weeks. Placement was uncomfortable, but tolerable. I took 200mg of Motrin before I went in so I'm sure that helped ease some of the discomfort. Hello, I have had paragard after my second child I have 2 yrs and I love paragard everything is going great. but today I got a tiny circle spot of blood and im not pregnant took a pregnancy it negative.. so im just annoy what it is. anyway overall I recommend paragard for everyone ..hormone free and it better to have paragard after a first or second child and you can do your doc

I read some of the reviews on paragard and wonder where some of you went to have this inserted. Your doctors must not be to good. I never had any discomfort when having mine inserted. I was in & out in less then 5 mins. The only thing that's changed since I've gotten my ParaGard is my period is heavy. Other than that I love it. Worth every penny considering its good for 10years. I have only had paragard for several months now, but I have been completely happy. Insertion was painful, as expected. Like a very severe cramp for me and I did show signs of a vagal response with mild nausea and cramping. I have a pretty high thresh hold for pain so I could see how some may have trouble with this.
