    Not only used to stop smoking but also depression, and bipolar depression.

    I switched from Zoloft to bupropion on the advice of my doctor. It seems to be doing the trick, however, about a week after I began taking it, I had a week-long bout of diarrhea. During that same time I had nausea, bloating and sudden flashes of heat.     i just started this for a week now, all of a sudden i found my self extremely depressed, and i am normally a very happy person with a positive outlook on life. so my doctor prescribed this. so far i think its working, im having some side effects. the big one is insomnia, i was wondering if anyone else has had this and if so does it go away?

    I started on Bupropion to deal with my depression after I'd lost a lot of interest in a lot of things I'd previously loved like running, competing, exercise, etc. I was crying a lot for no reason, and my previous good self esteem was in the toilet.
