Used this medication on a cruise to prevent motion sickness. I used 2 patches for 6 days. It did prevent motion sickness on the cruise. The nightmare began about 43 hours after I took the patch off. I was dizzy, nauseous, vomiting, couldn't concentrate, chills, nightmares, fatigue and more. I am on day 3 since taking the patch off. I am still experiencing side effects. I took meclizine for the ... Show Full Comment

I used this patch on a 7-day cruise and was not sick. When I was home and removed it I was completely fine for 24 hours - had resumed my swimming and daily activity without any problem. The next morning upon waking I found myself totally back on the rocking ship. Since the patch had worked while I was on the ship, I put another on. I went to the doctor who took took the patch off and treated me ... Show Full Comment

I use 1/2 or 1/4 of a patch at a time as I only weigh 115 lbs. I do get a little blurred vision and I change the patch every 3 days. It does really irritate the skin behind my ears, but other than that there are no side effects for me. I used to get very seasick on a cruise and end up with oral meds anyway. This works well for me.

I just want to make people aware of the "extremely unlikely" side effect of dilating pupils. After the 2nd day of my cruise, I was not bothered by motion sickness even in very rough seas; however, my pupils were dilated like they are when I see the eye doctor. I was unable to read anything or see anything close up. I've had the patch off for about 12 hours now, and my eyes are gettin ... Show Full Comment
