My husband was prescribed this medication for an UTI. He suffered from terrible acid reflux, nausea, wretching and belching. He couldn't keep anything in his stomach. Easy to take 3 pills a day but 2 days in I was nauseous, pale, my blood pressure dropped, and at the end of my work day I fainted while walking from the front door to the bus stop. This is dangerous stuff. I stopped taking it immediately. The following 5 weeks I had excessive thirst and zero tolerance for alcohol - I got drunk off one glass of wine at dinner. Never ever again would I take this.

Pharmacists said the medicine could NOT cause any of these side effects. Well guess what, IT DID! I started the Medicine before bed - 1 tab. next day 2 tabs. Day 3 and 4 I took 1 tab because the issues were very bad. I quit all together day 5 and called the doctor.
