I have had a uti that required two doses of Levofloxacin, which finally seemed to clear it up. In the mean time my gynecologist suggested that I see a urologist to keep any future UTIs in check. My Dr. Prescribed me this medication for my UTI. I only had two side effects from the medicine. The first time I took a dose I noticed I was a little lightheaded but knowing me, of course I didn't eat anything before taking the medication...I'm hard-headed lol but the second side effect I had was sleepiness. I walked around like a zombie until I fell asleep ??
