I have been taking this ever since levoxyl was taken off the market and my thioryd function has not improved. I was taking 325mcg a day which meant the highest mcg and another one while on levoxyl and my levels were within normal limits, not the same with this one. I am currently looking into a natural treatment.F/43 hypo since 2001.

I was on this medication for almost 4 years. When I first started taking it, I noticed that I would get the runs frequently. Then it happened with everything I ate. First, this drug is a hormone. I strongly suggest you see an Endocrinologist for treatment. Hormones are tricky, and PCPs are not as qualified to treat thyroid problems. It can take a year or more to determine the ideal dose for a patient. The drug itself is great. I have no problem at all with it. In my experience, do not take a drug with T3 and T4. This drug is T4 only.
