TOOK MACROBID FOR THREE DAYS. It cured not being able to urine without pain. I stopped taking it, thinking that I was cured. Two days later the symptoms were back. I am back on the medication. Take my warning do not stop until the medication is finished. I have taken one this morning, about 3 hours ago, and I am now finally feeling some relief.

This medication is awful. Caused knee and ankle weakness and eventual inability to move from the waist down. Caused blood pressure to go high and the need for oxygen because breathing was so difficult. . . After just two doses. 4 days later, just getting strength back.

I started Macrobid for a UTI, and had minimal symptoms. I had a mild headache and felt fatigued the first day I took it. I think people who are going to take this shouldn't worry. when you introduce a new substance into your body, you probably will notice a slight difference, I think major side effects are rare. Main note. Don't be a hypochondriac while reading the side effects.

Took the generic for macrobid for a UTI. I was better after three days on the med. However, when I take it I get a general feeling of "just blah." I get hat flashes and food just sounds nasty. Makes me tired and a little ill. Overall it works but like any antibiotic you are going to generally feel like crap while taking it.
