After my fifth back surgery with quadruple fusions I tried everything, hydrocodone, oxycontin, morphine. Marijuana capsules, injections,acupuncture,chiropractic, celebrex,and additional meds and treatments.

After having cervical spine fusion I suffered from chronic facial & neck pain. I was prescribed Vicodin which does help; however after a few hrs. it wears off. I was prescribed Fentanyl. It saved my life. I use the 50mg patch. I wish the dr. would prescrib the 75mg; however I change it ever 48hrs. It has truly helped with the severe pain I suffered with for 5yrs. Highly recommend. I had 3 failed neck surgeries and suffer from severe pain. My pain was 24/7. I have been on a a low dose "Pain Patch", (25mg. every 3 days) for 10 yrs. and it is the only drug that effectively treats my pain. They are not sticken but when they do it is a great relief.Takes away most of my pain ,not all of it. Usually take it with oxycondone.
