This worked alright. It helped my skin overall look clearer, but it comes and goes in waves. Sometimes it's bad again and other times it's pretty good. I took it on an empty stomach one morning and it made me pretty nauseous.

I took one pill a day with food and had mild stomach pains and nausea when first taking this. After a week or so, it went away. Now I'm two months into it and had to stop as I started feeling very nauseous, was dizzy, vomited, and had diarrhea. I've been off of it for over a week now and still feel constantly nauseous and dizzy. Saw some improvement with my acne but not enough to be worth

Within 10 days of beginning Doxycycline I became so sun sensitive, my toes and cheeks got sunburnt in about 10 minutes and became swollen, bright red and painful. I stopped the meds and called the doctors office. I also experienced a weird tingling in my arms when the sun would shine on them. I hope my toes eventually heal, I can't get shoes on them and can't go out without any.. I hope

I've been on this medication for 1 week now, but after reading some of the post, I thought I'd offer a bit of advice. It's best to take this medication with a full meal, preferably dinner and drink plenty of water, about 1 1/2 cups, if not more. I was on it a week for 2 doses a day. It seemed to be clearing up my skin well good. However every time I took a dose with food and water as instructed, but I started getting severe stomach pain as well as other GI symptoms.
