My son has taken this two times today for his cough and it has not helped AT ALL. After reading these reviews, I won't be giving it to him again --especially if it even isn't working.

This medication was prescribed by our pediatrician for our son's cold/cough symptoms...I might as well have mixed grape Kool Aid with melted ice cream for the same result...This drug is completely useless in my opinion...the medication was ineffective in suppressing cough and cold symptoms but for fear of drug interaction and side-effects, I had to wait several hours before giving our son some

As soon as I saw the review about the exact same symptoms, I knew it was the cough medicine. Our son walked around in a daze the other day, like never before. He is constantly waking up at night for the last two nights. The medicine is also very think, not flavorful, and difficult to administer.

Just taking 1 teaspoon I would be very sleepy, and wake up with hangover effects (headache, spinning room, stomache upset). The same dosage of VI-Q-TUSS was taken with no problem during or after. And, apparently it is
