I used to bounce back and forth with different medications with my dermatologist attempting to find the best one. I used the retin a micro gel and that dried my skin out extremely. my face is swollen, splotchy, unsightly and the acne looks worse than before. I have only been using it for 4 full days. I understand the acne can get worse before it gets better. It is very uncomfortable.
