    I have a condition called Bronchiectisis and a myco bacterium avium. infection. i take this drug on a cycle basis,10 days on 14 days off, alternating with doxycycline. I started taking it again for siunu and am finding now I have severe flu symptoms and run a low grade fever. I think it has always done that just not to this extent. I plan not to take anymore.     I had a bad reaction to this drug. A half hour after taking my pulse increased to 103 and my heart pounded like a drum. Would never use again.

    I took this drug for a cold that had gone on for a month. Two five day doses of 500mg. I was having problems with my ears so I ended up at an ENT specialist who pre sribed 750mg for 14days. After 7days I quit because the drug was killing my stomach. By that time I was in Spain and couldn't walk around the block my feet hurt so much.     O took this for 10 days for diverticulitis. I woke up the 4th day could not move my neck for 3 days, then left shoulder socket was hurtung, both went away then on day 7 or 8 my elbow hurt real bad, next day whole muscle from rist to shoulder was so sore coulnd pick up a coffee cup, 3 days after end of medicine i was liteheaded for 2 days at the same time my fingers on left arm started tingling, th ...     I don't want to scare anyone-but I had very bad reactions and have warned everyone I know to stay away from this medication. The good news is my reaction symptoms went away and I went back to normalcy within about 5 days after stopping the meds-so try not to freak out yet if you have experienced bad reactions.
