    I have been treated with this drug 3 times in the last 5 years due to antibiotic resistant chronic sinus infections. Each time, it has quickly alleviated my infection and the only side effect has been insomnia. If I took the drug earlier in the day, it would probably help me sleep better. I have had no issues with neuropathy, and don't even have diarrhea with the drug. I'm on it again ... Show Full Comment

    I have been on Levaquin several times for bouts of asthmatic bronchitis. Until this past round of antibiotics, I have never had a problem with Levaquin and have always obtained good results. This time however, after finishing a 7 day 750 mg regimen, I have experienced some of the worst joint pain ever imaginable. My knees are so swollen that I have a hard time walking.     Recently hospitalized for diverticulitis. First started on IV of Flagyl. No issues. However, just about as soon as the IV Levaquin was started I was having issues. Itching, burning and the hand the IV was in started turning blue. Soon my eyes started hurting and the itching spread. Told the nurses I thought I was having a reaction but they just brushed it off.     I was giving this for 10 days. for bronchitis. in my second day i have blisters in mouth an inside lips an tounge. My face has little blisters all over an arms leg back shoulder an cant sleep.I WILL NEVER TAKE THIS DRUG AGAIN SO PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM IT

    I was prescribed this medication for a sinus infection. My options are limited because of allergies to antibiotics. I was suppose to start taking it today but after reading so many of these reviews, I'm not touching that thing no matter how much I paid for it. I'm going to ask for a different antibiotic.
